Fountain Island a Pop Punk band from Newbury, really do know how to deliver on those catchy 2000s pop punk sounds, that is an injection of nostalgia. Having had a listen to some of their earlier music, these guys stay true to that their pop punk sound but with a slight hint of emo. Their latest single 'Girl You Got Me' is no different and the song fires right into that danceable energetic chorus, giving us a taste of what to expect in the song. There is something that I do love about a song that opens with the chorus as this is an instant attention grabber and sets the pace of the song, making you not want to turn it off.
