BLAME CAESAR - DON'T LET ME FALL // SINGLE REVIEW
'Don't Let Me Fall' is one of those gritty rock tracks that gets right under your skin with its infectious guitar riffs and gravely vocals. The track starts off with a guitar melody that is very reminiscent of 'Californiacation' by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The vocals from Joe Cullen then come in and the emotion that is radiated through his vocals is guaranteed to give you chills, especially with the guitar accompanying in the background. The song builds with the bass guitar filling those moments of space to really create depth within the track, the drums brings that anticipation of where the track is leading to and you are certainly not disappointed. The chord progression within this section of the track for me has both a sense of feeling uplifted but underpinned with a deep feeling of pensiveness. The bass line switches into a melodic section that allows the drums and guitar to sit back whilst the song builds into an instrumental break, opening up that space to allow the guitar to come back in and this time treat us to a soaring solo that gets right inside your head. The track continually builds this way for the remainder of the song and with the vocal on top, brings out the emotions of the song and you can hear that each part of this song is played with a passion and intensity that radiates straight through to the listener, these guys absolutely smashed it with this track and it leaves you wanting more.
