LYCIO - Alone

Offering up everything you want from an electro pop track.  Those gritty sounds laying down the path that gets right under your skin.  You can feel the pulsating low end vibrate inside your head and its just so addictive.  The main vocal line really lifts the track up to bring a soaring element that really captures the heights and depths reached within this track  The subtly in movements of the rhythm keeps you on your toes as it builds to a climatic finish and leaves you wanting more.  Genie vocally brings a reminiscent feel of London Grammar in the verse but as the chorus comes her tonality changes bringing a more euro dance feel similar to singer Loreen.  There is a mixture of Euro dance, electro and dark synth, a sound cocktail that you can take to the dance floor or just listen with headphones, either way this song pulls at you and it will stick in your memory for a while.

Estella Dawn - Pretty

Starting off with a piano melody that is laced with an uplifting feeling, the warm tones of the piano makes you feel instantly at home within this song.  There is a raspiness to Estella’s vocals, along side a mix of light and airy tones wrapping around the melody snuggly.  The track becomes more intense, more powerful with the drums and guitar adding that depth to really open the song up.   As the rhythm builds, the instrumentation becomes forceful, pushing Estella’s vocals to the forefront and making you listen to every word she says.  That little melodic fall that happens in between the short vocal breaks in the verse brings that little something different.  Just an out and out sing at the top of your lungs kind of song.
