ROSIE ALICE - BEST PART OF MY DAY // SINGLE REVIEW

Scottish singer songwriter Rosie Alice has released her first single 'Best Part of My Day'.  The songstress taking listeners on a journey, the lyrics have hope and melancholic intertwined which will ring true for many, that person you can't stop thinking about and always want to talk, but getting no reply from "waking up and I'm checking my phone to see if you have text or called, surprise surprise it was nothing at all" but they are still the best part of your day.  The song begins with a brief guitar riff followed in quick succession by Rosie's vocals.  A hint of those 50/60s doo wop in the instrumentation, which gives the song a light feeling in the first verse and allows Rosie's vocals to come in and you are instantly hooked from there.  The chorus makes its entrance fairly quickly changing into a rockier sound, the drums and baseline with those jangly guitars creating that atmosphere and space.  The song has a shimmery summer feeling, the instrumentation contrasting extremely well with the lyrics makes this the perfect song to belt out in your room or car.  Take a listen below
