LEAVING BORDEAUX - GLASS // SINGLE REVIEW

‘Glass’ is one of those energy fused indie rock songs that has hints of shimmery 80s rock through out.  A slight change in sound for the guys with the instrumentation sitting back just that bit but still injecting the song with the signature Leaving Bordeaux sound  like those driving guitar riffs in the chorus, where the song builds nicely and you will instantly know it’s one of their tracks as soon as it comes in.  The drums drive the rhythm initially allowing the guitars, bass line and vocals to comfortably sit within the mix without overtaking.  The mellow tone of the track brings a bittersweet optimism wrapped up in feelings of both longing and joy. The heartfelt gritty vocals capture you instantly and the driving instrumental makes this a track that will be a hit with the crowd in a live setting, especially with that instrumental that takes over towards the end and that hypnotic guitar solo will have you hooked.

Leaving Bordeaux has built and continues to build a reputation for their innovative approach to alternative rock, and "Glass" is a testament to their continued evolution as artists. The band members—known for their electrifying live performances and deep connection with their audience—have poured their hearts into this track, creating a song that is sure to resonate with listeners on a profound level.
