NEW TOWN

New Town are an up and coming alternative rock band from East Kilbride/Glasgow and they have recently released their single 'Beautiful Game' which has been positively received by many including Amazing Radio and Rapal's BBC Introducing Show.

'Beautiful Game' is an uplifting indie-pop track, filled with luscious melodies, atmospheric guitar riffs and emotional lyricism delivered by passionate vocals.  The song begins with spacious atmospheric guitar melody and vocals which are smoothly sung and grab you attention as soon as you hear them.  A piano melody joins in with the bass line and this is where the song gains depth as well as increasing the soaring atmosphere, as the lyrics tell the story of falling for someone who you then realise doesn't feel the same way.  The instrumental brings a warmth that circles around the vocals, heightening the intensity and heartbreak.  There is an energy that intertwines itself into the track that makes it so danceable and singable.  There is a lively spirit that comes through the instrumentation, alongside a fiery passion that burns through from the vocals and ignites that captivating powerful performance and intense rhythm.
