INTERSTATE DRIVE

Interstate Drive are a 3 there piece Southampton/Portsmouth indie rock band that are ready to mesmerise you with their sound.  The band consists of Cameron Davidson (vocals, guitar), Paul Irwin (bass) and Andrew Syson (drums).  Cameron previously played under a solo name, with Paul playing in a live band.  Due to lockdown they decided to form the band so that they could share their music as a unit.  Andy used to go to school with Paul and performed together in a band, so it was the perfect fit.  Cameron has appeared on BBC Introducing, VoiceFM, ExpressFM and has also appeared at festivals such as Firstdown Festival, Takedown Festival, The Beggars Fair and BBC London. The guys have previously shared the stage with the likes of Fatherson, Lonely The Brave, Funeral For A Friend.  The main influences that the guys all bring to the band are The Killers, Biffy Clyro,  You Me At Six, Fatherson, Manic Street Preachers and Young Guns.

This guys are bringing huge sounds and catchy melodies to your ears.  Their latest track 'Mirror Mirror' has those early 2000s vibes seeping through.  Bringing a wall of energy and a sound that is packed with melodic guitar riffs, bounding drums and singable lyrics, which will definitely spark nostalgia for anyone who enjoys their early 2000s rock music.   The track kicks off with a driving gritty guitar riff, with a pace that continuously builds momentum as the song continues, arriving at soaring choruses and instrumental elements that will get you up dancing.  The combination of pop melodies and alt rock hooks in this track are guaranteed to get stuck in your head.  There is definitely The Killers-esque influences through this track and fans of The Killers will definitely love it. Their debut tracks 'Sundown and Hurricanes' and 'Invented' are both equally rich in their sound, these guys really love grabbing you with their passionate lyrics and melodic guitar riffs that are dripping with so much atmosphere as they accompany the vocals through out, both will captivate you.  This is a band that you need to be adding to your playlist.
