THE RIOT VANS - SCOTRAILS STEALING ALL MY MONEY

Scottish punk band
The Riot Vans are back with their hugely infectious 'Scotrails Stealing All My Money', their first release of 2021 and they are starting it as they mean to go on, with this new single.  The track was recorded and produced by Scotty Anderson at Magic Box Dundee and mastered by Pete Maher Mastering

'Scotrails Stealing All My Money' the title tells you exactly what this song will entail.  Written back in days of the daily commute on the train either to work, college or uni, those high prices for a train ticket and the hiding in the toilets to avoid them when the conductor was making his way down the carriage is what ignited the inspiration for this fury fuelled track.  The track goes from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds beginning with prominent drums, the undeniably in your face punk driven guitar riffs and hitting the accelerator more with those vigorous vocals, delivering tongue and cheek lyrics, you know it's going to be a track that makes an impact on listeners.  The song builds its intensity as it progresses, the vocals and instrumental becoming more irate as they chant "F*** the Abellio", that will no doubt get stuck in your head and this song will definitely go off in a live setting.  The track quickly became a fan favourite before lockdown,  with videos of crowds chanting the chorus together at Glasgow Queen Street.  This song has definitely announced its arrival and these guys are delivering banger after banger, with their forceful sound, their unstoppable presence in the punk scene is building and they are a band that you need to put on your radar.
