SEAGOTH - ETERNITY

 

Seagoth returns with another dream pop/psych-rock track, filled with psychedelic vibes, swirling sounds and captivating melodies, 'Eternity' follows 'Dreamworld' released in 2020 during lockdown where she began to cultivate and refine her sound and 'Eternity' shows her continuing growth within her sound.

'Eternity', a dreamy soundscape that delivers psychedelic vibes with those flange guitars and filtered drum beat, creating a faraway atmosphere that takes you along with it and makes you feel like you are floating.  The vocals are delicately delivered and bring an ethereal feeling that if you close your eyes they will take you into another world.  There is an overall light an airy feeling about this track, combined with slight dark undertones in Seagoth's vocal tone that bring out the emotions of song which touches on self reflection as she mentions "If 2020 has taught me anything, it's that we all need to slow down.  Self-reflection and stepping back to see things for how they really are is incredibly important", themes which are definitely mirrored in this song and will relate to many people especially over the last year.  The synths that are continuous for the majority the song, playing in an almost absent style, they are there but they sit faintly in the background bringing a muse like call that draws you in.  This is definitely a song that you can get lost in and one that will definitely make you slow down, sit back and listen.
