Leaving Bordeaux are a rising alternative rock band from Glasgow, they bring a thrilling and upbeat sound, blending driving guitar riffs, danceable rhythm sections, funky basslines, melodic synth lines and catchy vocals. The 5 piece is made up of frontman Jamie, guitarist Darren keys & synth player Alexander, bassist Caleb and drummer Louis. Having only released 3 singles so far, the guys have exploded onto the Glasgow music scene and are cementing themselves firmly on the radar as a band to watch. They released their debut single 'Caught Out Cold' in 2019, followed by 'Adrenaline' at beginning of 2020 and now their latest single 'This Time (No Mistakes)'.'This Time (No Mistakes' is 3 minutes of pure alternative rock delight, packed with instrumental moments where you can completely let go and dance, the smoothness of the vocals creates a warm and welcoming tone. The repeating phrase "this time not mistakes" will definitely get stuck in your head. The upbeat tempo of this track gives the feel good vibes, with the pushing drums, the groove of the bass line creating that infectious funky rhythm, the intricate synth melody giving the track a sort of chilled moment before the move into the guitar solo. The track breaks into an energetic instrumental section towards the end, with a guitar melody that is guaranteed to have you up on your feet dancing around to.
