HOLY DRONE

Warrington based shoegaze dream pop band Holy Drone made their debut in 2016, releasing several singles throughout and gaining interest from people around the world and catching the attention of BBC Introducing, the Unsigned Guide and Amazing Radio.  After a year of experimenting with new sounds and navigating their way through lockdown the band have released their latest single 'Fibres'.  Taking inspirations from Cocteau Twins and My Bloody Valentine the song came together quickly, written during a time in lockdown when the sun was shining and the band  began feeling slight optimism about the strange times everyone was in.

'Fibres' is their first release since 2019 and it brings the blissful dreampop and psychedelic vibes into full swing.  The flow of this song, with the smooth addition of reverb moves the track into a dreamscape ambience that will capture your attention completely.  You instantly feel at ease and a sense of calm from this track, with the warm vocals, dreamy fuzz guitars and mellow drums.  The chorus lifts up into a soaring spacious atmosphere, with the Emma Taylor's spellbinding vocals creating a hauntingly beautiful soundscape.   As soon as you hear this song you find yourself not only listening, but going on a journey closing your eyes and submerge yourself into fully, its 3 minutes that will transport you away from reality and into the world of dreampop.

These guys are already causing waves in the music scene and I am excited to see what else the have planned in the future.
