FIGHT ROBOTS FIGHT

Fight Robots Fight are a 3 piece Celtic Alt Rock band from Edinburgh & Dumferline, who bring together a cocktail of voodoo inspired Blues, Indie Rock with a nod to Celtic folk influences.  The trio consists of Neil Christopher, Dougie Shanley and Raymond Davies.  After being involved with the "Musicians Working Working Musicians" campaign for Help Musicians UK, the guys then released their latest single 'Slow Burn', which was produced and recorded at the iconic Substation Records by Michael Brennan.  The track itself takes a lot of inspiration from other Scottish Alt Rock artists and fans of Biffy Clyro, Fatherson and Miracle Glass Company will all enjoy this track and without a doubt be adding it to their playlists.

'Slow Burn' begins with a spacious continuous organ that sits subtly in the background, followed quickly by a captivating beat with a beautiful guitar riff that you feel right at home within.  The drums are that steady pillar keeping the calm unhurried vibe, allowing you to close your eyes and just completely relax right into this song.  The introduction of the acoustic guitars in the 2nd verse adds that extra element, which makes the track feel complete.  The warmth that radiates through the vocal delivery, the slow and gracious style of singing instantly putting you at ease.  The back and forth with the vocals and the guitar melody, it's almost as if it's the second voice that answers the call from the vocals and it is so incredible to listen to, and how they flow flawlessly into one another.  There is no sense of urgency at all in this track, allowing you to take a step back to just enjoy this song and all it has to offer.
