THE SHED PROJECT
Bolton based Indie rock band The Shed Project, started out as a 3 piece writing, mixing and mastering their music from scratch from a shed in Bolton. They are now a 5 piece and the band consists of Roy (lead vocals), Tim (lead guitar), John (rhythm guitar), Vince (bass) and Mike (drums). They have released 5 singles over the course of 2020 'Livin', 'Do It', 'One Shot', 'Lucky Number' and their latest release 'Bedtime'.
The guys teamed up with Bolton based mental health and addiction organisation WHYSUP, with their new track 'Bedtime' as it is about a bad time in the lead singer Roy's life. The track starts with soft and pleasing guitars, which has a warm and calming chord progression, and you just know the song is going to be emotional. The track builds as it progresses, with the addition of light and easy going drums and subtle bassline, making the track flow beautifully. The vocals are delivered with a heart-rending passion and you know that the lyrics are coming from a personal place. You can also feel the compassion in his voice, giving the track a comforting warmth and strength for anyone who listens. A track that you will find your way back to and repeat!
