LOVEPET HORROR
Lovepet Horror is the musical name of Bristol based singer-songwriter Scott Clark. Releasing his latest pop/rock track 'Mistic Vistic', which is the third release of 2020 and the third single of his debut album which he is currently working on. The purpose of this track musically is to further develop on the sound of previous releases, adding in different instrumentation like percussion, a shimmering reverb pedal, violin and guitar. Lyrically the track was supposed to be abstract, although loosely based on a character who has a big opinion of them self. Scott takes his inspiration for his music from Syd Barrett, his songwriting from The Beatles and The Satire of Morrissey.
'Mistic Vistic' is a more stripped back track compared to his previous rock heavy tracks like 'Anyone Can Pretend','Stars of 2016' and 'Businessmen and models' where they use gritty electric guitars and prominent drum beats. This track uses striking atmospheric acoustic guitars and violins, giving the track a light and airy feel, which will captivate listeners and resonate a feeling of calm and tranquility. The vocals are warmly delivered and listeners will quickly be put at ease with his singing style, in such a way that is steady and doesn't feel rushed. The musicality and how beautifully put together this track is will delight listeners and they will definitely be putting it on repeat over and over.
