Up and Coming Perth duo Broxden Knocks are ready to take the Scottish music scene by storm with their Alternative Hip Hop sound. The duo consists of brothers Gary and Colin Robertson and they have recently released their debut singles 'Summer Paradise' which was released in August 2020, followed by 'Uncertainty (I Don't Know)' released in November 2020.
'Summer Paradise' is one of those tracks that as soon as it first starts you will imagine yourself somewhere sunny and warm. It is a song to play when you are on the beach chilling out, relaxing and soaking up the sun, music filling the air and people will definitely relate to the lyrics. "Sitting on my nose are cheap pair of shades, sun goes down but the music never fades...Looking at the sky cause it really is a stunner, I'm not stone cold I'm just living in the summer". The instrumental is simplistic in style, giving it that mellow vibe with the filtered atmospheric guitar and the subtle keys.
'Uncertainty (I Don't Know)' is more layed back both lyrically and instrumentally compared to 'Summer Paradise', the instrumental uses mellow keys that will have you closing you eyes, sitting back and nodding your head. The instrumental is the main focus in this track with the melodic keys heard throughout and towards the end. The vocals sit back mostly and allow all these intricate instrumental elements heard throughout.
