REAL EASY
Leeds based rockers Real Easy are a new up and coming band, ready to set themselves firmly into the music scene. The band is made up of James Roberts (vocals/lead guitar), Rhys Sidwell (rhythm guitar), Greg Mitchell (drums) and James Hunter (bassists) who was finalised after they had recorded their EP 'Poundland California'. James (Roberts) and Rhys, both from Hull know each other from high school and now currently live together in Leeds. Greg knows James (Roberts) through previously playing in the band 'White Orchid' together, once the trio was formed they put the call out for a bassist to join, this is where they got in touch with James (Hunter) and the band line up was complete! Initially the main reason for the band coming together, was through James (Roberts) who had a lot of unused material, that he had written in between bands and everyone was itching to get back on stage performing. So they decided to try put a set of songs together from the material they had.
The band take a lot of their influences from classic rock, particularly with their huge guitar solos, anthemic guitar riffs and powerful drums! They also mix their classic rock influences with modern era songwriters such as 'Alex Turner' who is a big influence for the band lyrically and also 'Noel Gallagher'.
The first move from the band was recording their EP 'Poundland California' which is set for release on the 16th of October. Their first 2 singles 'Don't Wait Up For Me' and 'So It Seems' are already out! Both are absolute rock anthems, filled with those infectious guitar solos, anthemic guitar riffs and powerful drums. You will find yourself listening to these songs on repeat and they will definitely get stuck in your head, get you dancing and singing at the top of your lungs!
