MICHAEL JEWITT

Michael Jewitt is an up and coming indie pop musician from Edinburgh, he recently announced his debut single 'Fault Line' which is due to be released on the 21st of October!  The track was recorded, mixed and mastered by Michael himself, he mentions "During lockdown I decided it was time to teach myself how to record, mix and master, so I kind of feel like it's the first track I've ever written which I can call my own". 

The track is a groovy, upbeat slice of indie pop.  Serving up a funky bassline,  groovy drums and quirky percussion, which will get your toes tapping and head bopping.  The lyrics will resonate with listeners, as the track talks about wanting to help someone be the best version of themselves they can be, supporting them throughout and to help them grow and become a better person.  Michael mentions this "the song is about wanting to help those around you be the best they can be, rather than something which holds them back".  Which is reflected in the lyrics "Say something I don't wanna be your stop sign, I just wanna be your sunshine".  The track is the beginning of Michaels musical journey, I am looking forward to seeing where he goes and to watch him and his music develop.  'Fault Line' is out on all streaming platforms on the 21st of October!
